The Way The Boys Did

This indie pop track was written and performed by Kildare born artist, Ro. The track was recorded in the studios in the Dundalk Institute of Technology by another engineer which I then received the multi-track to begin the mixing and then mastering further on down the line.
This is quite a beautiful track in its lyrics and instrumentation and I felt I had to be delicate particularly with the acoustic guitar and the layers of vocals to preserve its beauty.
The main technical issues I faced with this track was that there were a lot of timing issues between the drums and acoustic guitar which would typically involve re-takes but instead of causing a lot of hassle, I used the time compression expansion tool in pro tools a lot to rectify these issues.
