The mix of this track is solid so from a macro mastering point of view, I wanted to enhance two things; the dynamics of the track, and the excitement whilst not forgetting the technical loudness aspects. The frequency balance of the track is consistent so whilst using Ozone 11, my first touch was to use some multi-band compression to change the dynamics of the sub elements (bass and kick) in particular and then to the exciter to add a little bit go grit to the mids where the guitars and vocals are.
